Good morning and welcome to our service with a difference. Unfortunately, it is going to be that way until the end of May, as our landlord has requested that no meetings take place until then.
However, the good news is that God is still very much in control, even if things don’t always appear that way. As we enter the Easter period, the following hymn reminds us that Jesus is very much alive.
The short (1 minute 36 seconds) message below asks the question that all of us need to answer. We can cover our sin with self-righteousness and good works, but when all is stripped away, what remains?
Years I spent in vanity and pride…
Our final hymn reminds us that one day, the believer will make it. Not because of what we have done but rather what took place on the cross all those years ago.
When all is stripped away, what remains?
Lord, we thank you for all that you have done for us, that are doing and that you will do. When all is taken away, we still have you, and ultimately, that’s all we need. Amen.
