Although we’ve had plenty of snow in the area over the last few days, it hasn’t been the white stuff that has caused today’s service to be cancelled. Rather, it was an email yesterday, from our landlord (Methodist Church) letting us know that until further notice, due to the Covid-19 situation, the building is now closed.
So, it’s back to the online service with a difference for now. Let’s pray: Lord, many times things happen that are totally beyond our control. Although we can’t meet together in person today, nevertheless, we thank you that you will never leave us or forsake us. Amen.
Our first song is I Saw The Light, courtesy of Ransomed Bluegrass. Enjoy and be inspired.
If you thought that was different, how about this. Again, enjoy and be inspired.
If you’re interested in a daily Thought For The Day for the month of January, check this out from our pastor, Stewart Bloor.
Our final song is from the Somerville College Choir, Oxford, as they sing The Lord’s My Shepherd.
Thank you for joining with us today. Although things may happen in life that are beyond our control, they’re not a surprise to the Lord.
He knows everything that is going on and he’s always one step ahead. When our faith is in Him, there is no panic, fear or worry. He’s in total control.
