The reading at church yesterday was Matthew 24:1-14, where Jesus himself was talking about the end times.
He said that the love of most will grow cold and that people will follow false messiahs.
We see that in today’s society, where beliefs that are quite clearly contradictory to God’s word are pushed and promoted by swathes of Christendom.
In the same passage, Jesus also spoke about persecution. We also see that in the western world, where if you don’t follow the modern, progressive ideologies, then you put yourself in the firing line.
The bottom line is that, if you’re a Christian, you choose the Bible. In fact, if you’re a true believer, you don’t want to do anything else.
Although many will fall away, he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Why not join us on a Sunday morning? We meet at Binfield Street, Tipton, starting at 10.30 a.m.
