Good morning and welcome to another on-line service. We were expecting to be back ‘in person’ today but the landlord (Methodist Church) is still in the process of doing a risk assessment on the building.
We’ll post as soon as we hear any news. In the meantime though, our first hymn this morning is Dwelling In Beulah Land. Performed by the Sons Of The Pioneers, it goes back to 1937. Enjoy!
Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness. Regardless of what uncertainty and insecurity there is all around us, we know that, in you, there is always peace and hope.
We stay in the USA – and also with the genre – as Weaver Believer bring us Leaning On The Everlasting Arms.
We’ve mentioned the Methodists, here’s a classic Charles Wesley hymn, And Can It Be.
Ephesians 5:18: “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.”
With the pubs back on track, in England at least for now, the above scripture is a reminder of the contrast that exists.
1 Peter 5:8. “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
Our final song is The Blessing, which currently has in excess of 3.4 million views on YouTube.
Stay safe, stay blessed and watch this space for news regarding when we can meet together again.
