Good morning and welcome to another service with a difference! Let’s kick off with a well-known hymn, At The Name Of Jesus. Based on words of scripture, it talks about bowing the knee to Jesus. It’s a sign of submission, and it goes without saying, we have to be careful what we submit our lives to.
Staying with the theme of bowing the knee to Jesus, here’s another song.
Let’s pray: Lord, we thank you for what you have done for us. One day, when this world as we know it comes to an end, all will bow the knee before you. However, we thank you for those who do so willingly in this life.
Our third song comes from Israel Hougton, I Surrender All.
Today’s sermon, recorded half an hour ago at home is on the theme of anger. The text is Psalm 37:8… ‘Do not give in to worry or anger; it only leads to trouble’.
Thank you for joining with us this morning. Hopefully it won’t be too long into the future when we can meet again in person. Stay safe. Rev. Stewart Bloor
Our final song is Carman singing Lazarus Come Forth. The true gospel is about life, hope and peace not death, anxiety and anger.
